Restricted territories

Our services are not offered to residents or citizens of the territories listed here.

Last updated: TBC — set the date this list takes effect.

The information on this website is not directed at, and our services are not available to, any person resident in or a citizen of a restricted territory. Attempting to open an account from a restricted territory is a breach of our client agreement and the account may be closed.

Restricted list

TBC — this list must be completed before launch and cannot be guessed. It is driven by three things: the countries your licence permits you to serve, the sanctions regimes you are subject to, and the jurisdictions whose own rules prohibit unlicensed solicitation of their residents. Most brokers restrict the United States and any FATF-listed jurisdiction at minimum. Get this from your compliance adviser, not from a competitor’s website — copying another broker’s list copies their licence assumptions, not yours.

Why territories are restricted

  • Licensing — we may not solicit clients in a jurisdiction where we are not authorised to do so.
  • Sanctions — international sanctions prohibit providing financial services to certain territories and persons.
  • Local law — some countries prohibit or heavily restrict retail CFD trading.

If your country is on the list

You will not be able to complete verification, and any funds deposited will be returned to their source, subject to our AML and KYC checks. Contact help@veltonmarkets.com if you believe the restriction has been applied to you in error.

Changes

This list changes as sanctions, licensing and local regulation change. We update it here and the date above reflects the most recent change.
